Day 00: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, picked up by our guide and transfered to Arusha for overnite at Green Mountain Lodge.
Day 01: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha at 8am with packed lunches to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive in this park famous for Big herds of Elephants and Baobab trees. Dinner and overnite at Twiga Camp (camp has swimming pool).
Day 02: Lake Manyara Park
Depart after breakfast at 8amwith packed lunches to Lake Manyara National park. Proceed for a full day game drive in this park famous for tree climbing lions and birdlife. Later by 6pm head back to Twiga Camp for dinner and o/nite (camp has swimming pool)
Day 03: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Depart after b/fast from Twiga Camp at 7am with packed lunches to Serengeti national park (home to the “Big 5”). Get there by noon and proceed for afternoon game drive in Seronera area (central serengeti) till sunset. Dinner and o/nite at Seronera Camp. A visit to the Maasai Village can also be done this morning at an extra cost..!
Day 04: Half day Serengeti tour to Ngorongoro
Early morning game drive from 6am till 11am return to the camp for brunch and later by 12pm start your drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and o/nite at Simba Camp on the crater rim (2700mts above sea level). It would be an enroute game drive this afternoon from Serengeti to arrive Ngorongoro by 5pm.
Day 05: Full day Ngorongoro Crater tour
Early b/fast and descend into the Crater at 6am with packed lunches for full day crater tour. Crater is home to the endangered Black Rhino and Pink flamingos inside Lake Magadi. Have lunch by the Ngoitoktok hippo pool and by 3pm start your drive back to Simba Camp for dinner and overnite.
Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater Rim Hike
Early breakfast, depart at 7:30am with an Armed Ranger for a 3-4hrs hike on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim along the Seneto/Malanja Valley for the whole morning. Return to the Camp for lunch there after proceed to Lake Manyara area for dinner and overnite at Twiga Campsite.
Day 07: Mto wa Mbu Cultural tour
Breakfast at the Camp, you will leave at 8am accompanied by a Local guide to visit the Mto wa Mbu village which is famous for cultural tour, local markets, rice fields, sugar cane plantations, Banana Beer, Baobab Trees etc. This walk will take upto 4hours before you return to the Camp for lunch and afternoon swim at the Camp. Depart from Twiga Camp at 3pm to arrive arusha by 5:30pm for overnite at Maasai Camp.
Day 08: Walking Safari Arusha National Park
Early breakfast, depart from Camp at 8am with packed lunches to Arusha National Park. Upon your arrival you will be accompanied by an Armed Ranger for 3-4hrs hike on the foothills of Mt Meru and great view of Mt Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Park also famous for Black and White Colobus monkies. Afternoon can be spent game driving with our safari vehicle before you head out of the park at 4pm to drive back to Arusha for drop off in town/hotel for onwards arrangements.
Our guided Tanzania Joining Safaris Groups where you will be grouped with fellow travelers. We operate a range of small group safaris for a more sociable Africa experience. All of our scheduled Tanzania Joining Safaris Groups use vehicles with a maximum of six passengers, all guaranteed a window seat and standing space through the roof hatch when game viewing.
Group-joining safaris have increasingly become popular these days. It is a type of safari wherein a traveler or group of travelers join other like-minded adventurers on a safari.
