Health requirements:

• Yellow Fever Certificate.
• Anti malaria prophylactics
• Small medical kit for cuts & grazes
• Contact lens wearers may be bothered by dust, it is advisable to bring glasses just in case.
• Anti-diarrhea tablets + Imodium
• Sun block.
• Insect repellent {with deet}
• Cool cotton clothes.
• A warm sweater.
• Light raincoat.
• Water bottle.
• Wide brimmed hat.
• Sleeping bag for camping safaris or mountain climbing.

Don’t Forget!

• Film & batteries. (Slide film is very hard to buy in Africa. Please make sure that for slide (dias) pictures you bring plenty with you!)
• Torch or headlamp
• Binoculars
• Money

Although most major Hotels accept credit cards.

For things purchased, the rates for obtaining cash via credit cards are very high.

Therefore it is advisable to bring some cash.
