12 Days Tanzania Camping Safari

That will take you close to nature and this offers you a good chance see various animals plus a visit to Bushmen and Datoga tribes. all in all It will also take you for a  walking on the shores of lake natron to view pink flamingos.

What To Expect 

Day 01: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha 

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, picked up by our driver and transfered to Green Mountain hotel Arusha for overnite.

Day 02: Arusha National Park 

Pick up from Hotel in Arusha at 8amwith packed lunches and drive to Arusha National Park (2hrs drive). Proceed for a full day game drive in this park famous for Black and white colobus monkeys and great views of Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro. Later by 5pm, drive back to Arusha for overnite at Maasai Camp for dinner and o/nite.

Day 03: Tarangire  National Park 

After b/fast, depart from Arusha at 8am with packed lunches to Tarangire National Park (2hrs drive). Get there and proceed for a full day game drive in this park famous for big herds of Elephants and Baobab trees. Later by 5pm, drive to Twiga Campsite for dinner and o/nite (Camp has swimming pool).

Day 04: Lake Manyara Park 

After b/fast, depart at 8am with packed lunches to Lake Manyara National Park .Get there and proceed for a full day game drive in this park famous for Tree climbing lions and birdlife. Have lunch by the hippo pool. Later by 5pm, drive back to Twiga Campsite for dinner and o/nite (camp has swimming pool).

Day 05: Bushmen & Datoga Tribes

Depart from Twiga Camp at 7amwith packed lunches to Lake Eyasi. Get there and head to visit the Datoga tribe accompanied by a local guide. Later in the afternoon head for a visit to Hadzabe tribe (bushmen) where you may have a chance to go out hunting on foot with them for small game such as Dikdiks, baboons, hyrax etc…dinner and o/nite at Eyasi Camp.

Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater 

After b/fast, depart at 7am from Lake Eyasi straight to Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunches (3hrs drive). Proceed for a full day Crater tour. Have lunch by the famous hippo pool and later by 5pm exit the crater and drive back up the rim for dinner and o/nite at Simba Campsite (on the crater rim 2500mts above sea level).

Day 07: Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti 

Depart from Ngorongoro at 7am to Serengeti National Park with packed lunches. Get to the entrance gate by 11am and proceed for the rest of the day game drive in Serengeti till sunset. Dinner and o/nite at Seronera Campsite (central serengeti).

Day 08: Full Day Central Serengeti 

Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park with packed lunches. Breakfast, dinner and overnite at Seronera Campsite.

Day 09: Northern Serengeti 

Early morning game drive in Serengeti from 6am to 10am. After brunch at the camp, head to Northern Serengeti (game drive on the way) for dinner and o/nite at Lobo Campsite (northern serengeti).

Day 10: Northern Serengeti to Lake Natron

Early breakfast at camp, depart at 7am from Lobo Camp for short game drive around the area before exiting the park at 11am from Kleins Gate heading to Lake Natron (4-5hrsdrive). Afternoon can be spent walking around your camp area/natron village area where you will meet lots of Maasais leaving in the area. Dinner and overnite at Natron Camp.

Day 11: Full day Lake Natron

After breakfast at Camp, you will be accompanied by a Maasai guide to take you for a walk around Lake Natron to view the Pink Flamingos for the whole morning. After lunch at the camp, you will head to Ngarasero Water falls for afternoon hike/swim. Dinner and overnite at Natron Camp.

Day 12: Lake natron to Arusha 

Breakfast at Camp, morning walk around the shores or village again, after brunch at the Camp you will start your long journey back to Arusha (6hrs drive) for drop off in Town/Hotel for onwards arrangements.
